This is a fantastic mop and sauce for any pulled pork. A BBQ mop is used to either “mop” or slather on during the cook using a brush. It can also be put on using a sprayer although this mop is a little chunky for that. Be careful how much you mop and heed the old saying “If you’re looking, you’re not cooking.” Make this full recipe by simply mixing all the ingredients together. Save 3/4 to 1 Cup to pour over the cooked meat right before serving – the “finishing sauce“.
- 1- 12 oz bottle of dark beer (I’ve use a bunch of different beers including a craft Maple Syrup Porter which worked awesome – craft beers are great because you can buy them as singles)
- 3/4 cup fresh squeezed orange juice
- 1/4 cup cider vinegar
- 1/4 cup canola oil
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 Tablespoons of the Rub (find that here)
